I applaud the good stewardship of the program by Estrategos Consultores Associados, Lda. and the invaluable support of US Ambassador, Marianne M. Myles.”
USADF began working in Cape Verde in 1986. The current portfolio consists of 21 projects, worth $3.8 million. USADF provides resources, training, and economic opportunity to marginalized populations in Brava, Fogo, Maio, Sal, Santiago, Santo Antao, and San Vicente. In FY 2010, USADF added 7 projects to the portolio, committing $714,146 (CVE 57,554,770) to some of the country’s poorest and most marginalized communities.
